Introduction to Canine Massage & Visual Assessment online course
This 2 hour course is a great starting point for dog owners and handlers who are looking to support their dog’s health with canine massage.
This specialist course is designed to help you to assess your dog’s physical appearance and give you the skills to support their long term muscularskeletal health at home. You will learn how to apply two targeted massage techniques to use on your own dog, utilising Galen Myotherapy’s unique Positive PACT protocol.
It will give you an introduction into canine anatomy so you can gain an understanding of what is under your dog’s skin as well as looking at common behaviours which can indicate muscular discomfort. Through Galen’s many years of research and treatment of thousands of dogs, we have found many indicators which can be directly associated with muscle discomfort and also pain. The link between a dog's habits and comfort level is absolutely fascinating and is something that Galen has been talking about for over two decades.
